I bought my dd a toy instead.  She isn't impressed with candy and she knew the bunny at her gymnastics class was a person.

What do you do for Easter?

Basket with some chocolate, a larger chocolate figure...outfit..shoes a 'big toy', a beach pail, & some dollarstore toys.
Same as what i got as a kid, this year they are getting a large amount because we went to a store that was closing and all their toys were 70% off

My kids baskets are filled with just candy as they don't get alot and need no toys since they have everything it seems we will do an egg hunt with real and plastic eggs the plastic ones will have money in them and then dinner with my mom.

I'm dressing my son up as a pirate for Easter and we'll be doing a treasure egg hunt. I wanted to minimize the candy this year, so we're doing toys and coins instead.

I got them each a small basket that I made with candy I know they like and some Microsoft points. We also do a small Easter egg hunt after dinner. Some eggs have candy and some have money in them.

We do an Easter egg hunt for my 10 and 7 year old.  We have more fun now with it because we can really hide the eggs in great spots so that they really have to hunt for them.  We color eggs and we do Easter baskets for the kids.  This year I got my son a couple of small Lego sets and a model to build.  I got my daughter a bunch of seeds and pots so that she can grow some plants.  She is my little farmer green jeans.  lol.  This kids could put a broomstick in the ground and it would sprout leaves for her.  lol.

We do give them some candy.  Not much though.  Mainly M&M's and jelly beans.

We do a big Easter dinner also with the family usually.  We will not be at my Mom's this year though because my 20 yo dd has to leave to go back to college tomorrow afternoon (her Spring Break is over with) so we are doing Easter at home this year.  It will just be the 6 of us this year at our house.

We usually don't do baskets, but we're doing a little something this year.  I got them each a bucket (so they can take it to church too) with a couple of toys and a little bit of candy.  Then we're going to church and they'll do an egg hunt there.  After church, we're going to a friend's house to hang out and eat.

Little miss green jeans huh?  I hope my dd gets that from her g-ma, I have a black thumb!  I hope you enjoy your intimate dinner =0)
