I am buying a house right now, just signed the final agreement for it. Can't wait to finally own and not pay good hard money to someone else.
I have no desire to own a home. Just seems like nothing but a headache.
We rent, and we've never owned. I wish we did though. My dh seems to think buying a house will be a piece of cake, like he can just walk into a model home and say, "I'll take it!". I've been trying to tell him it doesn't work that way. But I guess he needs to learn on his own. I don't know if we will ever be in a position to actually buy a home :/
I want to own simply for all of the decoration power that comes with it
I own my home. I would much rather my money go to my home/land then throwing it away on rent. And when you own your own home you can do whatever you want to change it.
We rent but I would love to own a home. It seems like I throw money away each month paying rent and not getting any equity from it. I also hate living above/under/right next to people. I grew up on an acre of land and never heard anything but nature. I want that for my kids.
I own but I don't agree. I like having property freedom. When I rented we couldn't even paint the walls.
