I will tell you mine:

1. You are physically abusive

2. You are mentally abusive

3. You are doing drugs ( no weed does not count unless you are having a problem)

4. you are selling drugs ( YES weed counts)

5. you have a REALLY messy or even slightly dirty home

6. you drink way too much

7. you do anything sexual in front of/to/ around your child

8. you do not use a carseat

9. you have no food

10. your kids are left alone

11. your kids are neglected

What do you consider slightly dirty? I keep mine clean(dishes caught up, bathroom clean, floors swept, etc). We just moved so it's cluttered and we are working on it. It is livable though.

I wouldn't at all anymore. In every situation I know of or have witnessed where the kids really did need help, they never.do.anything! And it just makes the kids' situation worse. CPS seems completely worthless to me.

I HAVE reported someone to CPS for..leaving their kids (ages 3 and 6) alone in the middle of the night to go fuck someone. (Yes I knew for a fact she did it, because she admitted it)

I agree with all of them except the second part of #5.  What exactly do you mean by "slightly dirty"??  Our house is definitely not clean... but it's not even remotely near "CPS-involvement" dirty.

Wow. You think a lot about the doings of others.

I've called CPS once. When it was certain the mother abandoned the child. Mom told CPS it was all a big mistake, they said okay have a nice day and mom left again. I have no faith in them.

I also think too many women like the idea of being able to 'use' CPS to bolster their own ideas about their by showing others how 'wrong' they are.

Which often wastes the time of already overworked people.
