SAHM on a resume?

After 5 years of being a stay at home mom I'll be applying for jobs soon. I'm currently working on my resume and I was wondering if I should put SAHM on there.

I haven't had a job in 5 years and I know Gaps in employment look bad but I'm not sure if SAHM counts, abd if it does what exactly would you ladies put?

TIA!

I'm not sure... I was a SAHM for 9 years. I didn't put it on my resume. They asked why I had such a long gap since my last employment and I told them..

I might just leave it off then. If they have concerns do they usually ask?

My employer was upfront and if she had a question she just asked. Just be honest and up front =)

I would just mention in your cover letter that you took time off to devote to your family and are ready to dive back into your career.
