Question about health insurance

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
SO's work doesn't provide insurance and I'm not employed. What are some insurances you can get that aren't through work?
And if u are paying not through work how many kids and how much do you pay?

Blue Cross Blue Shield

And IMO it isn't too expensive.  When I worked full time I had private insurance from them...  I got it as a individual since my job did not offer insurance.

Not sure on the cost as these was a few years ago.  You can call them and find out though.  GL

Not all jobs offer insurance....even descent paying ones. If life were so simple we could all afford health insurance...I suggest u take your self righteous, condescending self else where...she's asking for advice not criticism

Quoting Anonymous:

How is your son on your mom's insurance? Why don't you have a job that offers insurance?

Quoting Anonymous:

As of right now Ds and I are on my moms insurance. SO and I just bought a house and I'm looking for insurance for us before we move in.

Why people put themselves in these positions is beyond me. What are you going to do if your kids or you get sick? Oh let me guess the tax payers will pick up the tab.
