Emotional affair. Has this happened to you?

My bestfriends husband just told her last night that he's been having an emotional affair with a woman in another country over the internet and he's leaving her(my bf) for the other woman.

She text me at 1 am to tell me what was going on. I was in disbelief. Not nearly as bad as she was. She just kept telling me she felt lost.

They were seriously the happiest couple I've ever know. As her best friend I am obviously going to be there for her thick and thin, but man I can't even sort of relate to what she is going through.

Have you ever been emotionally cheated on?

Emotional affairs suck! Is rather my dh have sex with someone than an emotional affair. There's so many feelings, feel like you're being replaced. Just listen to your bf, let her vent to you

Yea, I've been cheated on plenty of times by ex and my ex husband. Never like this though. I don't even begin to know how to approach it. ):
