Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

I just spilled a McDonald's sweet tea on my newborn.

Worst mom moment ever.
I am shaking so hard I can't eat what I ordered.
My baby screamed. He was dead asleep, in his car seat. I tried to carry it and my tray at the same time.
The woman at the register offered to help me when my order was up and I stupidly declined.
He is ok and back to sleep now after that shock.

Worst confession I have bad since becoming a mom!

It happens. I didn't put the nipple in the bottle cap properly one day and the whole bottle dumped all over my baby when she started sucking :-/

My (then) two year old came running around the corner into the kitchen just as I was opening the fridge door. She had a big goose egg on her forehead for days :(

Done this. Felt like a child abuser for like 5 hours afterwards lol.

I accidently tripped my 10 month old on my mad rush to the bathroom to pee this morning. :(

I just remembered this. When my son was a newborn (like three weeks old) I was frying dh an egg and ds was scream crying. I picked him up and held him while I was cooking (see where this is going?) well I was juggling the baby and a heavy hot pan. Needless to say, the heavy pan slipped and the edge connected with his forehead. I was bawling and rushed him to the ER. He was fine (not even a scar) but I still feel bad.

Here's one more, my daughter, who was six at the time, came into my bed in the middle of the night and laid across the foot of the bed. I was unaware it was her, and when I went to pull up the covers she was on them and I just assumed it was the dog, so I shoved her to the floor with my feet.
