If so how much do you put in each month? How much do you have saved so far, and what are you saving for?

I put in about 100 a week, I have 300 saved so far and I am trying to buy a car.

We put in lump sums when bonus and stocks come in. Usually around 5k twice a year.

I've always maintained my own Checking/Savings account. I'm not comfortable sharing any other information about it though.

Yes, just got a huge retention bonus from my company for staying when they got bought out by a competitor. Saving it for when I eventually get laid off and need to find a new job.

Yep, it was mandatory to have when I opened my checking account. I never use it. Opened it a few months ago and have made no deposits or withdrawals so it just has $5 in it that was required to set it up in the first place.

We do and have enough to live for 5 years if anything were to come up.
