Is this normal?

My teenage son passed away a little over a year ago.  It breaks my heart to see all the milestones his former classmates are hitting.  They all turned 21 and celebrated.  Some are having kids.  Some are getting married.  A lot are going to college or have finished college.  I have so much trouble being happy for them.  All I can think about is that my son never got the chance to live those moments.  Will I stop feeling this way ever?

It is ok to feel that way. It takes time to grieve. There is no right amount if time. My dad died when I was 8. I grieved a long time. I was jealous that other kids had their dad. I still miss him but it does stop hurting and you will eventually be able to. Enjoy other people's joy.

I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Time doesn't heal the loss or the grief...it just builds your coping mechanism. There is no "normal" when living through the loss of a child. Prayers and HUGS to you!!
