A**hole parents

I just got an email from my sons preschool teacher saying that due to some comments from a few parents she was canceling their last 2 field trips. One was actually a pre graduation party for the whole family. It cost $12, but that included food and swimming at a local pool for however many people you wanted to invite. Last year we had 13 people that came. Less than $1 per person. And now because of asshole parents it's canceled. Good job ruining fun for everybody else.

That sucks. I wouldn't see the trouble with a swimming party if I could be there to dive into the water if my kid were to start to drown, lol.

They shouldn't have caved in. If those parents have a problem they can keep their kids home. What a shame.

.. I wonder why they didn't want to go?

I mean, couldn't they just opt out instead of taking it away from the entire class?

OK I am an asshole parent, because I do not go to swimming parties with pre-schoolers!
I end up watching my kids and everyone elses!
Drowning can happen too quickly

You don't wanna go, don't pay. It's not forced on anybody. I don't see why, but it pisses me off.

So don't go. Don't bitch about it so it gets ruined for everyone else.

Seriously. Nearly 30 years she's been doing this and always done the swimming party and no one has said anything. Until now.

I sent an email back saying how I felt.

That's to bad. Why don't you & some of the other parents that are into it have a party yourselves. That's what I'm all about.
