I have four children 23 and married, 19 in the marines, 16 in highschool and an eighth grader.  My husband would like to have two more and I am just wondering did any of you have kids at this age and were there complications.

For me personally its way to old. I would never want a baby at that age but talk to your dr. I'm pretty sure the older u are the more risks their ate but your doc would be able to tell u all that :)

I think its a personal choice. It would be for me... When I'm 42, my kids will be 23 and 20. I wouldn't want to start all over with a baby. But if you're healthy and want to, I say go for it!

I know several women who have had healthy pregnancies at that age. Personally I wouldn't want to, I was done having kids before 25.

Talk to your ob gyn. He/she can run tests to see if your body Is still healthy reproductive wise to carry a pregnancy.
There are increased risks with older pregnancies so review those and decide if its right for you or not.

Keep in mind, adoption is always an option if the two of you are open to that.

Personally, too old for me. You would be 60 at hs graduation

I would say so, honestly you wont be alive for a big chunk of its life....maybe not even until they were 18

Ask your dr.....

For a man that's not old, but for a woman it's a different story since she's the one carrying.

I don't want children after 30. But everyone is different. If you can handle it, go for it.

Well, my daughter is almost 18. I'm 36 & pregnant with #2. Will be 37 a month after baby is born. DH wants another in a few years, so I'll be 40+ with #3. I don't think it's too old. Certain risk factors imcrease after 40, but that doesn't mean you will have any complications.
