My daughter lines up objects.
Examples; At dinner she lined up all her green beans from largest to smallest. Or she will try and peice food back together; like a waffle, or a torn up paper..

She does have a speech delay, also is a bit delayed physically and emotionally.

Based on that I couldn't say. It could be abnormal if she has other behaviors that aren't typical.

Have you taken her to see someone?? Not saying that something is wrong. DS2 lines up everything & we found out he has ASD & apparently those w/ASD lime to line things up & stack things. Not saying that's it though.

We adopted her when she was 21 months. I did not notice anything odd until her brother whos 2 (shes 3.5) did not do these things. We thought it was apart of her delays.
