Break the rules and then get mad at you because they got grounded? My DSS, 16, comes home an hour after curfew. He got grounded for 2 days. Now the whole world is falling apart because we ruined his plans this weekend. Sorry pal, rules are rules.

I'm a tattooed,pagan,pro-choice,pro-legalizing marijuana,pro-gay marriage,anti-war,non-vaxing,tree hugging, animal loving, book reading, animal testing free, depression battling, trying to raise a free spirit and letting her be who she is but still teaching her important life lessons, fighting for equal rights at the same time, don't like it get over it.

Keep on it, be consistant. Or do what my mom did. I could get out of a grounding if I cleaned the entire house top to bottom.

Because they're kids?  Mine don't break rules, they really don't like the consequences so they abide.  They're masters at pushing my buttons, but they don't break real rules.
