If you know some of the words, you can go to a lyrics database web site or ask.com, and type in any lyrics you remember, and you should be able to find it.  I have done that on YouTube as well and found the songs that way.  You can also go to websites like MTV.com or any sites with past top 40 songs, look up singers like Alanis Morisette to see what year her songs were released and then search for the song or singer during the same time frame.

You could go on iTunes and listen to som of her songs. That one is on her Pieces of You album. The words you remember are missing you?

There was a song I loved but couldn't remember the name or many of the words and hunted down. It took me a while to find it. Drove me crazy when I was looking. LOL

Been there, that sucks.  Was it a fast tempo or a ballad?
