Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

I cut up and threw away all the photos of his ex-wife

It came over me one day when I was home alone. I knew where he kept the photos - in a box on a high shelf. There weren't many of them, maybe 10.

I took the box down, pulled out the photos (a few were wedding photos) and destroyed each and every one of them. It felt good.

I knew what I was doing was wrong, but she caused so much turmoil in our lives and one time actually assaulted me.

Not good. That's his personal property you had no right to destroy it.

I hope they don't have kid/s together. That was a really shitty thing to do. It doesn't erase his life and love before you.

That's still part of his life. Even if it's the past and he's with you. I would be so pissed if I was him. It's not like he had them hanging on the wall.

Those are his memories, not yours. That was wrong on many levels, you should feel ashamed.

Wow. Why not just ask dh to get rid of them? Was he maybe keeping them so his kids had pictures of her.
