It stinks! My little ds' s room really stinks. I'm going to have to repaint its so bad.
Dh's uncle is staying a few weeks with us, long story, but he works with dh too. They are both plumbers, and yes sometimes they work in the sewer lines. Dh is extremely clean, his uncle, don't even shower once a week. I told dh how bad he smelled. His uncle tried to hug me one night and I almost gagged. I told dh that is unacceptable. Dh said he had a talk with him, but the guy doesn't care. Uncle is also an alcoholic, so now ds' s room smells like a musty old beer factory and raw sewage. Gag
I can't take it anymore.
On top of that, uncle has to pay rent. I work, dh works nobody stays hear for free. All we ask is 100 $ a week including food and bills. Uncle hasn't been able to pay that twice now.
So done

What should i say? I don't want to be mean or rude

Tell him he stinks.

Spray him down with the hose before he steps foot in the house.

Sad thing is your bathtub is going to go to hell once he gets in it...and he's so nasty he'll just leave it gross.

Wash the walls with a bleach solution, wash windows and curtains (not with bleach unless they are white), bedding and carpeting. That should take care of the odor.

A little trick, to remove the smell from the room after you wash all the bedding put a bowl with vingar in the room and leave it over night.  When our house caught on fire the fire fighter told me this and it really works.
