My DD is 4 years old and shes super active and clumsy. Shes always running around and horsing around and I've noticed her legs seems to be covered in bruises a lot. Especially from this weekend, we took her to a big playground and she played for about 3 hours. The next day she had 5 new bruises on her legs they are small but still.. Is this normal?? Or should I worry???

Why would you worry? She's active, she bumps into things, she gets bruises. Sounds pretty standard to me.

Very normal, to me at least. I have 2 boys so you can only imagine the amount of bruises, bumps and bloody messes I find. When I was a kid I had bruises all the dang time. Not that I was clumsy just very active.

probably normal but excessive bruising could also be a sign of other things. i would mention it to her DR at her next appointment.

potassium intake can limit the amount of bruises. have her eat a banana every morning and see if the bruising slows down a little bit.

My 4 to is the same way. I wouldn't worry unless they are huge and take an extra long time healing.
