What are yours?

I have a few:

1. playing with my friends on the beach, and rarely wearing shoes.

2. taking home the bunny on my weekend when in kindergarten (rotated each weekend)

3. watching "60 Minutes" with my parents every Sunday night; must be where I got my obsession for reading news?

Taking off in the morning with a sack lunch and my bike and riding all over town till dinner.

Going to the library and coming home with a huge stack of books.

Being with my Grandparents and knowing without fail that they loved me for me.

Waking up from naps (when I was little) in the backpack on a horse.  You'd probably be turned in to CPS for that now but I LOVED it.

The day I got my first horse who was just mine.  It was my 13th bday.  I still have that horse.

Easter.   Dyeing eggs.  And my Dad was there because it was the year before my folks divorced.  I have  a picture.  I was 12.  I stil did eggs even though the Easter Bunny was old news.  I had little brothers and still got to have so much fun.  In the pic I' thinking of, I had a little boyfriend who was there with us.  He's dead now.  He killed himself a year later about the time my folks divorced.  But in this pic, we were only 12 and we were all so damned happy looking.  all of us.

When I didn't have no WORRIES, no DRAMA, just playing and having fun with no CARE in the world.
