Naming our adopted daughter.

We are adopting internationally and our little one does not have a formal name. She has what her care givers at the orphanage call her but that's pretty unconventional for the US and she is so young, we can still change the name.

I now have a question. We want to give her a name that fits her. She's from Uganda and I just can't imagine naming her something like Brittany or Olivia. I want something that is ethnic sounding but not weird or out there. These are all that we've come up with so far. Any more suggestions? None of these have really caught us yet.

I like Eden, Mila and Talyia. Talyia might get mispronounced a lot

Eva is beautiful.

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff: we have traditional gender roles, we're Catholic, I'm Libertarian, he's Republican, we're both conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee
