I've been breastfeeding for 13 months now. And my DF is making me feel like crap when I do!

Its like when I ask if he could get me something to drink or something to eat when im stuck sitting down bf. And he bitches and calls me lazy!!

Why?

He used to be so supportive...

Because a lot of people think on their first birthday they magically stop nursing and go to eating steak and potatoes.

Or at least that's what my DH was thinking.

Because there is no reason for you to still be doing that. It is lazy!

I wouldn't support you either.

Probably because after thirteen months you should have had enough practice at it to be able to do other things while you nurse.

You should talk to him about it. Calling you names is wrong and that should go without saying. If he is no longer supportive he should be able to talk to you like an adult and voice his issue in a productive way.

Lol well it sounds like you've been milking it (no pun intended) for 13 months.  Grab a snack and a drink before you sit down to nurse.

My baby is three months........I can hang laundry while nursing her.

Get a drink or snack before sitting down to nurse.

Really.
I can remember walking around with baby in one arm nursing, and pushing a vacuum with the other.  Buck up, woman!
