Nope. Never to early to put the kid to sleep in my opinion , especially if they are being cranky.

Not if you don't mind getting up at 4-5am... I know even if dd didn't nap well if I put her to bed that early I would be paying for it the next day

Not in my book. My twins are 19 months and I have put them down at 6 on days like that!

Yes- even if he sleeps 12 hours a night that means he will be up 5/5:30 AM. Try and keep him going for a little bit.

I didn't have my kids on a schedule at that age, so for me it wouldn't have been too early, they still slept and woke whenever.

This! If you let him last till he passes out there is less chance of him waking up in an hour or 2

i guess that depends how long youll be staying up/getting up in the morning. If youre sending LO to bed early, personally, i would try to get to bed earlier too.

I think it is. He might wake up later on. But I had to do that last weekend for my son. Nap was terrible and around 6 he was sooo mean. I just caved and let him take a short nap. It's Saturday so the late nap or waking up later on in the night wouldn't bother me.
