how does it work. Do you need to bring the car seat And buy an extra ticket.? do they sit in your lap how does this go I've never flown with a child Before

Kids under 2 fly free. Just keep them on your lap and bring a carseat to check as baggage. That is also free as you need it to carry your baby in the car/taxi from the airport. I would put DS to sleep before takeoff and landing to help with the ear popping thing. Never had problems here.

No ticket needed. They will sit on your lap. You can check the carseat for free.

Get a little wheel carrier to drag the carseat around the airport.

Also bring a bottle to suck on when her ears start popping.

Don't forget a copy of the birth certificate. My DD was a big one year old and we had to show her birth certificate to prove she was under 2. You can also check a carseat for free.
