Cookies in your computer are little markers that tell websites if you have been there before, etc.  They are basically trackers, & some are malicious & can bog your computer down.  It is highly recommended that you clear out your cookies on a regular basis.  Before you do this, write down all your login & password info, because some cookies are used to remember those for you. To do this, go to Tools, Clear Recent History, click on Cookies & then click Clear Now.  This should help with your computer's performance.  You should do this at least every 2 weeks.
