How do I make bistec? What are some different ways to season it? I want to make it for my SO, but I'm not sure i have all the seasonings that I need. Please share how you make it. Thank you. :)

¼ cupExtra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cupWater
Juice of 1 Lime
1 TbspMinced Garlic
2 tspGround Cumin
1 tspChili Powder or Chipotle Powder
¼Jalapeno Seeded & Chopped, i use a whole one and leave seeds in, we like spicy
¼ cupChopped Fresh Cilantro Leaves
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1½ – 2 lbsFlank Steak or Skirt Steak
For Salsa/pico De Gallo
3Large Tomatoes, chopped
½Red Onion, chopped
¼Jalapeno, chopped
1 cloveGarlic, minced
¼ cupCilantro, chopped
Lime Juice, i use anywhere from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon, depending on my tomato juices
¼ tspChipotle Powder, optional
Salt & Pepper To Taste, i use chicken bouillon instead of salt
1 cupCheddar Cheese, shredded

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all marinade ingredients in large baggie.

Add meat and seal baggie.

Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Mix all ingredients for salsa and refrigerate.

Grill steak until done to your liking...it doesn't take long this cut of meat is pretty thin.

Top steak with cheese before removing from grill, close lid and let cheese melt.

Throw tortillas on grill for a couple minutes on each side.

Serve steak topped with salsa and tortillas and beans or rice on the side. I also serve this with guacamole!!

Every family has a different recipe. Trust me lol get a few, expiriment with it and make it your own. I have 3 SILS and they all make it differenty than MIL and each other (but it's all good). Mine is the most similar to my Mils
