What kind of parent are you for giving your kid a snack before bed?

My daughters ped just scowled at me for giving her a snack after dinner/before bed. I never realized that I was doing anything wrong. Do you let your kids have a snack after dinner?

Not usually. But I wouldn't say no if they asked.

Just about every night. We eat dinner at 6, he goes to bed at 9. I'm hungry by then and have a snack, why shouldn't he?

If we eat dinner early, yes.  Mine can't to to bed without something in their stomachs, they'll be throwing up by morning.  It's something I figured out the hard way.

Yes, they get a snack after dinner but we eat pretty early and they get fruit.

No. I usually don't allow anything else to eat past 6 pm, unless for some reason we are having a late dinner. I do have a friend that does a daily night time snack. I don't really care, other than I've noticed her kids don't really eat dinner, they more pick at it, but only an hour later are allowed a snack. Why not just make your kids eat dinner, then they wont need the snack. That's what I want to say, but I never would lol.
