Strange names/nicknames

I'm a sahm mainly but I also substitute teach. I have noticed some very strange names while being a sub. Take, for example, spontaneous. Yes this is a child's name. Interesting to say the least. Then there is Sincere (a boy's name), and Street. I can't help but think do parents just think of a word and think hrmm I'm gonna name my kid that? I have to give credit for creativity in those names. It's not likely that there will be any other kids in their class with that same name. But what about the ones that could get a child ridiculed?? I was a paraprofessional sub last week and got in a conversation with the teacher about weird names. She said on her son's sports team there is a child whose name is fartavious. Yes you read that right - FARTavious. The kids call him fart and he is absolutely humiliated by his name. Then she told me about a kid she had in a class on year, his nickname was boobie. Even worse, the kid's dad's nickname (a name he goes by all the time with everyone) is Crap! I can't imagine introducing myself as Crap.

What weird names have you come across?

The weirdest I've seen was Porn Fan (first and last and I'm hoping not pronounced that way just saw it on a deposited payroll check) and then not twins just siblings Justice (boy) and Heaven (girl)

I call mine tater tot but it's not something everyone calls him. His name is Nate so most everyone at school calls him Nate the great. I'm talking about nicknames so common ppl don't even know that person's real name. Or actual names that parents give their kids.

I like Spontaneous and Sincere.  Those would both be considered virtue names (which go way back.)  Spontaneous would be a new one because spontaneity wasn't always considered a virtue while others like Silence have been discarded.
