Flushed your used tampon down the toilet but it didn't go down and your young son walks in and the toilet is full of bloody water? Our upstairs toilet sucks, we have to flush it twice every time. I flushed it once today and went to let the dog back in and forgot to flush the 2nd time. He went in there and just freaked out. "Mom!! The toilet is full of blood!!!!!".  (he's 12). We've given him the sex talk but didn't go real in depth about periods. I told him my nose had started bleeding some and I'd put the bloody toilet paper in the toilet. I've never had a nosebleed in my life. The lie seemed to pass the test.

You're not supposed to flush them.  So, no, that's never happened.

1 mom liked this

So is your whole entire house getting backed up because a tampon got stuck in the pipes.  I'd rather just take out the trash.

My 3 1/2 year old always walks in on me in the bathroom while I'm changing my tampon and when she sees blood she starts crying and saying that mommy has a bobo :( it really scares her.

Lol, he was. I felt bad but honestly I figured he'd much rather hear my white lie than the truth.

no because you're not supposed to flush them.....it's gross wrapping them up and putting them in the trash but i'd rather take the trash out a whole bunch then mess up the plumbing in my house
