What's taboo anymore?
Maybe I am desensitized. I have friends who are poly. I have friends in dom/ sub relationships. I have friends who are swingers. I am an exotic dancer with a SAHD husband, we are atheists, and we home school. None of this really shocks anyone.

My husband and I are both bisexual. We don't think we are taboo, but most think that we are crazy. We occasionally, not constantly throw in with a third, either male or female and engage in a night of fun, just like some consider a night in lingerie and toys are very adventurous. Aside from that, we are pretty normal, but because of what others may think, we keep our personal lives very close to the chest. Ask and judge away :-)

Maybe not "taboo", but definitely weird for the majority. We're Orthodox Jews, so we eat differently (my boys have never even been to a McDonald's), I dress modestly, cover my hair, observe Shabbath and pretty much all laws of the OT. We're what's called modern Orthodox, so we don't go as far as having no TV or not going to the movies, though.
