Does your SO get mad if...

He works late, then he comes home & you go to bed right away?
On the nights that my SO has to close at work, he has to stay until at least 12:30am.
Let's just say, I like to sleep, since DS is usually up at 7am, so I like going to sleep a bit earlier than SO does.
But SO gets really irritated if I go to bed when he comes home or soon after he comes home. He doesn't think I want to spend time with him.
Which, I do, but I need sleep...

No, my husband acts like an adult and understands that I'm tired. If I go to bed, I go to bed... He doesn't care.

Mine gets home at 1230 too and he expects me to be in bed because he knows the kids are up early. And he likes it because its the only quiet time he has

Not at all.  My dh has worked all kinds of shifts and never complained when I was asleep before he got home.

Stay up with him. Then wake him up when you get up. That'll solve that.

No. If he comes home late he will expect me to be in bed already. Curled up with my Pit Bull like a baby.

Sometimes he doesn't even go to bed until around noon.

When my husband worked a late shift, he would get upset if I stayed up until he got home.  It is disrespectful to suggest that someone should lose rest simply because his schedule was wonky.

Mine knows when he closes, it means I am in bed before he gets home. I rarely stay up with him or waiting for him unless I am working my online job.
