I'm 17 weeks pregnant and woke up craving fried chicken and collard greens.

Now I've never eaten let alone made collard greens and I don't normally eat fried chicken BUT if I don't get some kick ass collard greens and fried chicken today I may seriously cry. LOL

Any recipes or ideas on how to make this? Any kick ass fried chicken recipes?

I'm just wondering how you can crave something you have never tasted?

glory greens are the closest to making then yourself. So if you don't feel comfortable making then, buy a can of glory greens

And I wonder like a pp asked how the hell do you crave something you've never had?
Good luck!!!!

The fried chickens pretty easy but depends on what you're going for. I don't do collard greens. I like mashed potatoes and either green beans or fried okra.

Your chicken you just coat in a milk and egg mix then flour (seasoned with salt an pepper). Do this twice and fry it in the grease.

I've been known to use dressing like Cesar dressing instead of milk an egg though. Not as southern but pretty damn good.

I you make mashed potatoes it's all about butter and using carnation milk instead of homogenized. Salt to taste.

Damn. Now I want some. Lol

Don't get your panties in a bunch, I was not judging, just asking a question.
