So taking more money from the rich to give to the poor? Typical.

I don't agree with doing either. There are so many other BS ways we spend money in this country that could be cut.

Well.. Social security and Medicare are benefits for the elderly who were told that, that money would be there for them when they retire.

Social security and medicare are not any form of Public Assistance. the wealthy will fight just as hard to avoid cutting them, because they are the ONLY programs the wealthy can use.  They are paid into by anyone who works, and are paid out REGARDLESS of your means or income.  I know a man who was worth 40 million, and medicare (and his supplemental insurance) paid for his medical bills.

Now FS and EIC and all of those are means tested and you can collect without ever having paid in a dime to anything.

The elderly and disabled should be the only ones truly entitled to benefits.

the people who are on medicare and social security are the elderly and they will die soon anyway.  shitty way of puttin it yea, but its the truth, and those who are young and able enough, but are still on the above, should not be entitled to shit, well maybe the shit i put on a plate for them.

sorry, but it's typical, lets steal from the rich, so more ppl can sit on their fat asses and mooch

Then they need to go after the politicians who bled their fund dry.
What is America going to do once the wealthiest people leave the country? Who are they going to bleed next?

Why is that a bad thing? Seriously? Leaning on one group to fund another is never a good idea. Many if the wealthiest families are leaving the USA because of this practice, so when they are gone who are they going to take from next?
