That DH won't do the dishes for damn near a week, then do just the plates and bowls leaving all the pans still nasty for when I have a day off...

Or that he accuses ME of being lazy for not doing them after I get home from work at 10pm when I am the sole income provider for this family and work my ASS off to support us.

Sounds like you married a winner.

Desperation for male company doesn't make good marriage reasons.

Yeah. That isn't okay. Sounds like you two need a deep heart to heart and maybe some marriage counseling. Yes, marriage counseling because if this doesn't change it will fester in all areas of your marriage.

There is nothing wrong with being a stay at home dad as long as he is willing to take on EVERYTHING that comes with being the at home parent and that includes the majority of the house work.

When I was home, DH still helped around the house but I did the majority of it.

That deffinately does not work in my house. My boyfriend and I both work but I work night shift so he does the majority of the house hold stuff. I work over night come home in the morning and sleep then get up for him to go to work and spend time with the kids and make dinner and run any errands that ned to be ran. it works for us. there is no fighting about dishes or laundry or any of that. it gets done and we both work and I get to spend time with the kids without having to worry about house work.

If he isn't working his ass should be in the kitchen and have ALL the dishes done by the time you get home from work.
