How Many Moms Here Are Native Americans?... Could You Tell Us Your Tribe?...

My son-in-law is Chiricahua Apache and Cherokee.  My daughter is pregnant and will be giving birth to my first grandson.  I am proud to have Native American heritage as part of my family now.

Can you share with us your tribe's heritage?  Thanks.

What does it mean?  Could you tell me then?  (I hope I didn't offend you.)

I'm Metis and my Mum is adopted, so we don't have much specific information.

My husband is from Little Black Bear reserve though.

My grandmother was half Pemobscot (sp?) and I know nothing about the tribe really. She was orphaned at a young age and somehow endedup living with nuns in a convent in Texas.

I am a very very small percent, and I would never claim to be native American because it is such a small amount, but I know that small percent comes from the cree tribe.

My great-grandmother was full blood Cherokee. From what I was told, she had bags similar to a medicine mans. Not sure what that means, but all I know is that she had them.

Hmmm...  I believe that the Penobscots (I also don't know how to spell it,--- maybe!) are a tribe from the New England area.

Thanks for replying!
