95.4° update

My three year old last night was running a fever of 103.6°F so I gave him advil, and now according to both my temporal and underarm thermometer he is 95.4°F. Is this cause for concern? I know fevers are anything above 104 should be seen ASAP, but what about low body temps?

Called his pedi's office he is being seen at 11:30, I'll take his temp again here shortly

I just took his temp again, underarm read 96.6, temporal artery read 97.7, and oral read 93.7...I have no idea what to think

Update he has strep throat.

It is very low. I'd call your pediatrician and ask them. Does he have a "normal" temperature otherwise? I have a naturally low temp, but not that low. For me 99 is a raging fever. Definitely call the on call nurse and see what they think.

He was 103.6 last night when I medicated him, well above 100.0°

Actually it is one degree higher, you add a degree when taking under the arm or temporal. I wouldn't be concerned but if you are call the pediatrician.
