Better than what my daughter does. She unlocks the door and sits on the step stool asking "Whatcha doing?"

If the kids aren't home, it is a kitty paw under the door or scratching at the door.

My kid leaves me alone, he knows not to go in when mom is in there. The cat and chihuahua are the problem.

I gave up closing the door a long time ago, unless DH is home to occupy my bathroom invaders. It's usually our cat sitting on the bench waiting to attack the toilet paper, both dogs sitting in front of me pushing each other to be the closest to me and DD who is 9 but has serious "mom's having a private moment and I need her now" radar. If I close the door, DD yells at me through it, the cat has her paws under the door and the dogs scratch at the door. It's almost laughable most of the time.
