PETTY DRAMA-quick question

SOs friends are all bachelors in their early 30s. He's the only one with a family to support. His friends are all on FS, we aren't.

His friends come over and eat at our house. SO makes them plates of whatever I cooked for the kids and I and I make big meals so I can save them for leftovers for the kids. Honestly right now our income is half of what it usually is because of SOs surgery and time off.

SO says he can feed his friends if he wants because he eats at their house, but THEY AREN'T RESPONSIBLE FOR A FAMILY OF FOUR,which is my argument.

I'm all over the place, sorry.

How do you feel? Maybe I'm just being territorial.... idk. I feel like an animal fighting over food.

They all work. I know lots of people who are single and work and have FS.

Tell them that from now on when they come over, it's a potluck. :)

Or they can bring the ingredients for dinner.

Stop making such big meals. Make enough for you four, and if he wants to feed his buddies, he can share his portion.

I've never heard of single, childless men in their 30's being on food stamps.

I don't blame you.  On occasion it would be fine if you can plan ahead or if the friends were pitching in I might feel different.

put down a donation jar for each meal. put "donations welcome, help feed my kids" and they might get the hint. if they don't pass it around expectantly :P
