Wacky religious beliefs

I was raised in a christian denomination that told me if I cut my hair, wore make up, painted my nails, wore pants, anything sleeveless, then I would go to hell. I was also bullied by people in the church all my life-in the name of religion. I had more problems in church than I ever did being an awkward teen in high school. As a grown up I do not share the beliefs of my upbringing. I believe in God, but I do not believe in religion.

This is the craziest song they have ever written-thankfully its the only crazy one. It comes with the lyrics too.

Holiness?  I went to high school with a lot of holiness kids and teachers.  One of them once told me she was incapable of sin, so anything she did was not a sin.  I asked what if she stole something, and she said it would be God's will, not a sin.

You can't put God in a comfy little box that someone else made.

You do what works for you.  Keep it up.

LOL! Yes its considered "Holiness". They walk around acting like they are better than everyone. Because they pride themselves on being separate from the world. They win people to the "lord" and then gossip and treat them like crap once they have them converted. And if you "backslide" they kinda shun you (like amish do).

I stay as far away from churches as I can. I have a lot of issues with the things they teach.

Wow so she felt she could get away with murder because it would be God's will?
