No it's not. And no he doesn't. There are several pictures of this poor man.

Quoting treaH:

This picture is photo shopped. The real picture is on msn. And he has both legs.

This!

Look at his face, he's in shock. You can tell just by looking at him.

Quoting audreesmama:

He could be in shock and they often have wheelchairs waiting in case runners fall and can't walk. There is a tourniquet on his thigh. What proof is there of his identity and prior injuries? I see both arms, so how would a double amputee be running a race anyhow? I see no equipment or prosthetics.

The guy in the cowboy hat lost his son in the war. He was actually there cheering on some veterans

Quoting LiesLiesLies:

I don't believe this...

But I do know the cowboy hat dude is giving me a very weird vibe.

I think he should be a person of interest.

People are ridiculous. The victims are already going through enough without the insane conspiracy theories. Sometimes, the bad guy isn't the US government!

I know.

He also lost another son to suicide, he also lot a military van on fire, he also is in anti-war protests.

He just seems off. Not saying he did it...just saying he has a lot of the characteristics of someone who should be thoroughly researched.

I asked that this post be removed - it's slander and false information and an insult to both Lt. Nicholas Vogt and the man who suffered this horrific wounds during that terror attack.

I don't know if you were being sarcastic or not....

But the man in the cowboy hat runs a veterans organization in Maine and is a Red Cross volunteer. He was there supporting his clients who were running the marathon. He lost his son in Iraq in 2004 and his other son committed suicide. Several magazines and news outlets had profiles on him. He also ran with the man in the wheelchair until he got help and then ran back to the bombing site to help more people.
