I can't thank you ladies enough for your kind comments. I lived a very dark six years but I am optimistic. It's so amazing hearing your own personal success stories since even my doctors have told me a relapse is essentially inevitable. I can't wait to prove them wrong.

What would you do if your kid(s) ever started using? Do you have custody of your child(ren)?

I have a three year old I gave up for adoption at birth. He amazingly was born without the addiction and I am grateful every day. I also have a five week old baby girl.

I will never put my children in the situation where they would become users. If they somehow did, I would never give up on them.
