What's hard to believe? Most 5 year olds can count to 100. My child is two and a half and can count to 20.

My friends child is almost 4 and can count to about 50, she kind of get bored and starts repeating numbers around that point.

A 5 year old only counting to 15 is rare.

Ugh. How rude... Not you duejan. Anon. I seriously have a hard time believing some of these answers.

Quoting duejan13th:

Good for her.

My son was 2 months early and has some speech delays.

Quoting Anonymous:

What? Wow... my 2yr old can count to 15.

Quoting duejan13th:

15

My grandson just turned 6, and he can count to 150.  He can also do it by 2's 5's and 10's.  And in spanish

(wow that sounded snotty, I didn't mean it to be.  He goes to a very good school)

Into the thousands. He doesn't know 10,000 yet but he knows all the numbers up to that.

My daughter is 4, and she pretty much figured out the pattern inherent in counting, so she can get to 200 with little assistance.
