Ugh wtf was she thinking! I'm fuming!

My SIL had gotten her parental rights completely terminated for two of her children and custody taken from one (she still gets visitation with him).
My dh and I have been fighting so hard to adopt them.
I find out today that this bitch is pregnant again!!

Uuggh wtf. She is so stupid. I am just so saddened that yet another child will have to endure her bullshit.

Can cps step in even though she hadn't technically messed up with this child *yet*??

They usually don't unless what she did was violent. They can require her to take classes etc and have 24hr supervision if a judge sees fit. She then has to pay for that or find someone without a history to do it.

I think there are some situations where she wont get rights to any future children no matter what. Maybe Im wrong. But Im sure she did it on purpose.

Not unless she's drinking heavily or doing drugs. Even then, they won't do anything until the kid is born. You could see if she'd willingly sign the baby over to you. But again, that can't be don't until after birth.

I think I'd let her caseworker know that she's pregnant.

Damn.  :(

I don't think CPS can do a thing until she messes up again..

Sounds like she will..

How'd she lose the previous ones?

Situations like this make me wish you needed to have a license to have reproductive parts.

My experience with two of my cousins that my aunt and uncle are adopting is once she's on CPS's radar, she stays there. Depending on why the other kids were taken away, she may not even be allowed to leave the hospital with baby.

It just depends on the case. They can but not always.

Depends on why she had the others taken away. Sometimes yes they can and will.

This. Sometimes they can lose their parental right to all future children too
