Do these phrases bring to mind actual babies for anyone else? I can't take anyone who says those phrases seriously.

Stupid terms.

Those phrases are incredibly immature to me. I jokingly and obnoxiously call my Fiance my Baby Dadday but only because it drives him crazy.

Yes.  I imagine little daddies that are babies.  Baby daddies.  Now if they say "baby's daddy" I think of an adult male who is the father of the child.

You also live with your parents with no intention to move out.

SO called me his "baby momma " once and I said "so does that mean I can leave you now? Since I'm just your baby momma ? "

This!!!! I left my sons bio father when I was pregnant with him and I never used that phrase. I was a teenager, and didn't even say he was " my babies daddy" ugh... I refer him to my sons biological father. I hate the baby momma/daddy referral. Makes my roll my eyes every time I hear it.

1 mom liked this
My ex and I broke up a couple weeks before I found out I was prego and never got back together and I refuse to call him my "baby daddy". It makes people sound like they have 0 education. I don't understand why some people would want to sound ignorant.
