My Cat's in her first HEAT! What can I do she's annoying me?

She's 10 months old. We were supposed to get her fixed in March, but I was too busy. Right now she's making her mating call and I know by night time she'll be yowling. There's another cat in the area who's in heat that keeps passing by our window which probably started the process for mine. My cat is stictly indoors, she's our only one, and we're getting her fixed in May for sure. Right now she's really annoying me, what can I do? I refuse to qtip her (that's disgusting).

Nothing. Maybe try giving her catnip.

Deal with it, hope she doesn't get an infection and then get her fixed asap.

What's that? She's strictly indoors and hasn't been around other cats since she brought her home at 7 weeks old.

Mine irritated the shit out of me. As soon as she spent her first night howling non-stop I went to the vet and had them rip out whatever it is that was causing her to do it. lol

I've learned my lesson on getting animals spayed/neutered asap
