Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

Well DH, I bet you won't be an a**hole anymore. ETA: update lol

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
Dh was being a super jerk for no reason tonight, so I told him I was going to take a shower. Well, he fell sleep on the couch while I was showering. I'm not going to wake him up. I turned the a/c down to 60 and carefully took off his pants (he's an extremely hard sleeper). All of the throw blankets are in the dryer, so the only blanket is the comforter on our bed. I'm laid up in our king sized bed warm and toasty with the door locked. He will get you sleep in the living room and freeze. I'm sick of him having a shitty day and coming home acting like it's my fault he had a shitty day..

Eta update: he came to bed at about 4 am (yes, I let him in). He didn't say anything. Just snuggled and went to sleep. Well, I got up this morning and went to the bathroom. He hid my tampons. Touche dh, touche.. Lol.

Also, I want to add that this was all in good fun and not done out of anger. It's just how we are together. We have a sense of humor. It's fun.

Sometimes people are treated like assholes because they are assholes.  Seems to be a two way street in your relationship.

Tee hee hee... you should go gently put his hand in a bowl of warm water... isn't that supposed to make you pee the bed? Or shave off his eyebrows or draw a moustache on him with Sharpie marker.

What about the kids? What if they lose their blankets in the night?

It's not my fault he was in a bad mood. I have dinner ready and the house cleaned when he comes home. I'm sorry of he had a bad day, but it's not okay to take it out on me. It's all in good fun anyways.

Lol haha. I know what you mean, my husband comes home all grumpy too, or if he gets mad at our kids, he takes it out on me.

I actually thought about this. Ds is in fleece footies with two blankets. I'm in a tank top and shorts. If I'm not cold then he definitely isn't.

Next time he sees you, you're definitely going to get the Cold shoulder..
Seriously, don't be surprised if he seems a little frosty towards you..
Really, it gives me a chill just thinking about his response..

So when he flips out because of your passive agressive behavior don't be surprised.

That's good. I always stress about that, to the point that I get up several times a night to check.
