Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

Well DH, I bet you won't be an a**hole anymore. ETA: update lol

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
Dh was being a super jerk for no reason tonight, so I told him I was going to take a shower. Well, he fell sleep on the couch while I was showering. I'm not going to wake him up. I turned the a/c down to 60 and carefully took off his pants (he's an extremely hard sleeper). All of the throw blankets are in the dryer, so the only blanket is the comforter on our bed. I'm laid up in our king sized bed warm and toasty with the door locked. He will get you sleep in the living room and freeze. I'm sick of him having a shitty day and coming home acting like it's my fault he had a shitty day..

Eta update: he came to bed at about 4 am (yes, I let him in). He didn't say anything. Just snuggled and went to sleep. Well, I got up this morning and went to the bathroom. He hid my tampons. Touche dh, touche.. Lol.

Also, I want to add that this was all in good fun and not done out of anger. It's just how we are together. We have a sense of humor. It's fun.

Lol no. As I said before, this is all in good fun. It's not mean spirited at all. It's fun to have a sense of humor in a relationship. Also, my dh does not treat me like an asshole all the time. He had an asshole moment.

Sometimes people are treated like assholes because they are assholes.  Seems to be a two way street in your relationship.

My dh would pick the lock on the bedroom door and then steal MY covers. I wouldn't dare do that to him. He would get me back 10x worse.

Um... Thats an actual reason to be an asshole.

And, you deserve it at that point.

I love when mine passes out on the couch. I have the whole bed to myself and my blanket.

I wouldn't like having the bed to myself. I want my DH in bed with me, lol.

Lol. I always just leave mine on the couch so I could have the bed to myself. It's his own fault if he doesn't want to go to bed when he's tired.

My dh used to come home and snap out on me about work. I put up with it for about 2 months. I finally snapped back and refused to be home with him in the evenings. That straightned his ass up quickly!

For the 500th time, this was not mean spirited. Go back and read other replies.

So when he flips out because of your passive agressive behavior don't be surprised.
