Yes, true. BABIES shouldn't have juices... Kids either.

Full of sugar, etc. Unless you're making your own juice at home (without added) sugars.

ok. well my child is 17 months. he was on formula until 12 months. i agree babies under 12 months shouldnt have juice. OR WATER!

Quoting alexsmomaubrys2:

Under 12 months water throws off a babies electrolyte balance and causes the kidneys to work harder to fix the imbalance. It can cause damage to the kidneys.

Babies don't need anything other than Formula or BM.

Well water is better than juice with sugar in it. And my son gets his daily in take on whole milk as well so flavored water works just fine thanks.

You shouldn't give an infant water either.

Do you make sure the flavored water doesn't have artificial sugars in it?

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this but how old is your baby? If no one has asked you this then they have no place to judge you because some mom's I've seen are posting that it's bad before a year old, but from your picture he looks like he's a year old to me. With that said, my DD was having watered down juice at 10 months old. That was partially because she was having constipation issues and her doctor recommended watered down apple juice. And I can't tell...is it clear juice that his pj's are just showing though so it looks red or is it cool aid?

Yes i look to make sure there are no sugars in the flavored water. I don't need my son hyped up on sugar plus its bad for him.
