My fiance and my 17 yrs do not get along. We have 3 kids together and we are going to build a house together. He said my son is very disrespectful and will not listen to him. There was a point when my son tried to fight my fiance, he has two more yrs in school. What do I do to mend the situation? He is not his daddy., and he said he cannot move into the new house.

Counseling....and at 17 how much direction does your son need?

Tell your son and df to grow up and act like men.

Its more than growing up and acting like men, if my fiance tell him to do something he just back talk. And won't do it and walk out of the house, I am scared that they will fight one day.

How long have you been with df? Why have df parent ds?

It is about acting like men. Your ds is 17 not 7. He is fully capable of showing respect.

This, from my experience with teen boys, is normal behavior to an extent. Teenage rebellion.

It couldn't have happened overnight. Did your ds EVER get along with df?
