Ds is too tall for infant bath but can't quite sit up on his own yet. I know I could buy him one of those chairs but he's so close to sitting I don't wanna waste money. Any ideas?

Put a larger laundry basket in the tub?

I used our laundry basket. It's got holes in it so the water just comes through, and it kept his toys right there. I stayed right next to him so if he were to tip over or anything I was right there. We stopped using it once he started trying to pull himself up on the side. Had no problems.

Sit in the tub with him. That's what I usually do.

I've never used a special infant bath or other device when bathing my kids.  We've always just filled the tub to about 1-2 inches, then I'd get into the tub and hold the baby while my husband bathed the baby.  If hubby was out of town, I'd just bathe the baby myself (though it's easier with a helping hand).  Once they get to be about 6-8 months old, then it turned into showers where I'd shower with the baby at my feet.

That's the way we've always done it with three kiddos. ;-)

Have you seen a blooming bath? Its like a huge spongy flower that you put in the sink with you baby. They are great!
