Seems to me like they are trying to really limit the # of pit bulls/bully breeds. Thoughts?

 No. They only do it for pit bulls every May.

I think it's a good idea. It would keep female dogs from giving birth to unwanted litters that would more than likely end up in the pound. It can be hard to adopt out pits.

It's actually a good thing. As a pit bull owner/lover I STRONGLY encourage people to spay and neuter their pets.

Yep there are tons of pits in our local shelter and at the Pet Smart adoption area. Why do people continue to breed these dogs??

They are trying to cut down on puppy mills.  It's a smart thing.

I think all pet owners who don't have a breeders license should have to fix their pets... Cats and dogs. It's so sad how many animals get euthanized because there is no one to care for them.
