If you have step children, do you consider them yours?
I have four children, three who aren't mine biologically. I don't 'consider' them mine, they ARE mine. All four of my kids are MY kids.
Yup, I've been with dh since sd was a month old. She is my world, along with dd :)
I do not have stepchildren. Here is a bump for you.
No. I find it impossible to love them like my own, but that doesn't mean I don't love them.
I asked my dh (because he is my daughter's step parent) and he said no. Her dad and I co-parent awesomely, dd has a father. BUT he loves her very much and has said to me privately that he wishes he could be her dad.
Nope dont consider them
Nope and anyone who does consider their step kids theirs if their mom is around is just fooling themselves. I have 2 step kids, they are great, I love them like I love my nieces and nephews but they are not my kids. I don't have to claim kids to have a good relationship with them
Yes. My step son called me mom, and I still call him my son. He passed away from cancer at the age of 19, three years ago on Sunday. He will always be my son.
